Talking I am building a single t70 sc400

Hi, Im not too familiar with how to post on these forums but I hope im posting in the right place lol.. a few months ago i mentioned i was building a single t70 sc400, I havent had much time to work on it since im a highschool student but I thought i should post some build pics.. Im also making it a 5speed with a t45 borgwarner out of a 96 mustang ($85 junkyard) I made an adapter plate and used a slave from a chevy, ACT pressure plate from a 3sgte.. clutch disk from a 66 Ford Falcon.. fidanza Camry flywheel.. and other things im sure im forgetting.. Yes its all a Frankenstein but it my Frankenstein .. The progress keeps me motivated to keep working on it.. everything is custom and a pain in the *** but most of the hard part is done.. I have some 3inch stainless tubing off a jt3 jet engine ima use for my down pipe lol, I have a 2.5" intercooler kit off ebay HKS ssq bov knock off and a AEM wideband.. AFPR and I just need 390cc injectors off 1g eclipse and Apexi SAFC.. well guys any feedback is greatly appreciated thats if this posts ends up in the right place lol..

Glad to see another Turbo SC400 being built. So you used the stock manifolds and just tapped into the driver side and routed the pipe over to the passenger side. Did you check your fitment? Anyway, keep it up!
Good luck with your project.

Thanks Man.. Yea I switched the manifolds and everything clears each other I tack welded everything in the engine bay itself and managed to break the passenger side motor mount putting it in and taking it out repeatedly test fitting things =P.. and yes its all stock internals engine came off a 93 LS so it being pre 95 i think it will do fine, im hoping to run maybe 15 psi at most.. any suggestions?

Your ambition is impressive....Especially at your age . The earlier UZ engines do have the strongest internals, but I do think 15 lbs of boost is a bit lofty. Especially if you keep the stock compression. 6-10 lbs is probably more realistic and safe. Make sure your tune is real tight. I assume you are relocating your battery to the trunk as well?

look forward to your progress.

Thanks man =D.. Yup The battery has to go in the trunk, and with the Wideband Im gonna see were the stock mixture is at and tune it to be that way with bigger injectors before i hit boost (at 3200rpm im guessing) That way maybe If I need to drive far the mpg will stay near the stock range.. Ive seen some turbo cars running like a 13.5 mixture a bit rich but keeps it cool right?..

ok im off to the junkyard to get the motor mount i broke =P.. and the injectors!
