Well today me and dad argued a bit and i decided to let out steam so I wrestled the transmission into its place with out tools I crawled under put the trans on my chest aligned it and popped it in Things got personal between me and that thing.. but once it was in sun went down and i called it a day
Tomorrow I have to figure out what im gonna do with the drive shaft
oh oh oh! and i had to cut a 5 inch hole in the floor to let the shifter through so i neeed to lengthen the shifter rearwards a few inches nothing extreme
Hopefully some pics tomorrow too
And thanks Steve! I actually wanna do Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.. I worked on Small Gas Turbines This whole summer and Im studying at an Aviation School along with Highschool so by the time I graduate Ill be certified to work on anything that flys.. F1 cars sound fun tho

Thanks man.. and yea I havent heard complains about the 1UZ
and hope fully Ill be able to put up some pics from under the car today.. As far as work for today Im going to drill the ford tranny mounts to bolt up with the body.. make sure both engine and tranny are firmly fastened.. and see what has to be done with the drive shaft... The More progress I see the more motivated I get and I pick up speed

Mad props to you for only being in High School and being able to do this. Also that Turbo might give you problems in the long run. Just cause theyre built crappy. Hey you might get some luck though; i know i did for about 6 months

Ok so weve been trying to start this damn thing for about 3 weekends now and I cant get any spark from the coils the coils are good because it came off of my 1uz 4runner, the top coil gets a constant 12v power to one cable and i just dont know what to do, should i try replacing the igniters???? if this problem goes on I might just sell the whole project with all the aftermarket parts aswell..
