Exclamation any1 with gates racing radiator hoses? need help please

so i bought a megan tt rad and some gates racing rad hoses for a tt supra, the rad went in perfect but the hoses are ridunkulessly small, there about the same size as the radiator pipe and are hard as hell to stretch, so for my question is there any1 else running these hoses, and if so did they fit? or did you have to mod them or heat them up or something, im about to sell these and get some silicone hoses instead because i cant get these to slip on the rad pipe or the water necks on the motor, any help or insight is greatly appreciated

How do they fit on the stock radiator? I dont think Gates had an aftermarket radiator in mind. You could always try to boil the ends to soften them up a little and get them on as quickly as possible, or use some wd40 and spray the necks and the inside of the hoses just enough to get them on..

do they fit on the engine ok?

thanx for the reply, but you thought of the exact same things that we thought of doing to the hoses but i just wasnt sure if i could use wd40, but the aftermarket rad has the same size neck as the stock one did and the factory hoses fit perfect on it, ill take a pic of them side by side to show a comparison, but also the engine side water neck is the same size as the rads neck, anyway it'll be best explained in the pic

I had to trim the top hose a bit, and wd40 is totally cool to use as well.

did you have to trim it because it was to long, or did you trim it to get it to wrap around the rad neck better? also heres some pics

it might be kinda hard to tell from the pics but the hoses are alot smaller in diameter than the factory ones, but ill try wd40 and boiling once i get some more coolant, if it doesn't work they'll be posted in classifieds
