Default water leak

my 1995 sc400 its now leaking water from the front its going on the belt, i thought its from the theromstats but i put my hand on it, it was dry. it seems from that area. any idea???? please help.. ohh and its leak only when the car is on

probably a water pump...time to do that and a timing belt while you're in there.
