Default Timing belt install, but it wont start!

So i replaced my intake cam (passenger side) on my 1993 sc400. Got everything back together, timing belt on and all the marks perfectly lined up (i hope). So i go to start the car with a fresh new battery and the car clicks and everything on the cluster goes out. I release the key and try again and the same thing. Anyone have any idea on what the deal is?

I think i got it...I left the car in park, dropped the e-brake and then rocked it a few times and it cranked over. I didn't have the plug wires on so it didn't start but it turned over!

Sounds like a battery cable (neg most likely) isn't making a good connection....If it does it again you'll have an idea or where to look.

Ok so i may have an idea as per some of the lextreme guys. So i am planning on buying a new motor but I would rather keep the one that came with the car. Anyway...one guy suggested that since i had the cam bolt break the shaft may have seized (camshaft). Now i only replaced the intake camshaft with the broken bolt and down pin with a new setup with gear and pickup sensor and everything.

My new question is do yall think maybe since it seized that the exhaust camshaft may have twisted enough to throw off timing? I have done timing twice and even took it to a shop and they did it twice too cuz it wouldn't start still. Now i am thinking my camshaft it twisted to the exhaust side isn't opening when it should. Compression reads in the 200's accross the boards! Does this seem like a valid idea?

Im slightly confused and its probably because its late, but is the car turning over? I guess im confused from first post.
If youre getting rid of the motor, you might as well go 1/2jz

Yeah the car turns over and wants to start bit it wont. Its almost like the timing is off. I re-did the timing twice ad the shop did it twice too and nothing. Compression is over 200 across the board! I like the 1uz so i dont wanna get rid of it, i may just swap a new one int or try a new set of cams just to see it it helps.
