Default Loud exhaust

I got vvti SC300. Just got me a pair of mega fireballs. Everyone knows the fireball bolts right on to the factory pipes. It the same diameter as the pipes too. I just want to know why the fireballs on the 300 is loud. I have cat and resonators and all i did is change the mufflers. My friend has 400 and same exact exhaust and it really quiet, similar to stock quietness. Anyone know why they are loud? I'm thinking going other options to avoid tickets. Thinking getting apexi wp2... I heard them they really quiet, how??

1 the mufflers stock have baffles in it to help suppress noise 2 the air flow is not directly shooting straight out it flows through a chamber to slow it down a bit... as for the sounds variance between the two i wouldn't know as i never did testing on a 400 but I would speculate on the balance of airflow in the exhaust maybe smoother than the 300...or diameter of the exhaust my be different or the exhausts are different ex baffles or resonators
