are there any short shift kits availible for a 92 sc300 and by who are they made

No, unless you get the tailshaft assembly from a Supra W58. C's made one for the Supra and is now sold by MVP. But it only fits MK4 Supras and 96-97 SC300's

^^^ i heard the mkiii short throw shifters work on the 92-95 sc300 w58's i dont understand how if the shifter from the sc300 is further back than a mkiii....idk tho

I read the MK3 ones will work with the older w58's. The shifter should be the same on the MK3 R154's and W58's (older models). But like our cars need the shifter to be further back they made and extension on the housing but the shifter lever should be the same one.

Look up a MK3 on google and or ebay and compare it to yours. IF it looks like the same one you should be ok.

Yes it does require work on your end but... is it worth it to you?

I am running a C's short shifter on my 95, its a great piece! But I do not think it will work with the 92-94 as others have already said.
