1JZ hesitation issue
Once I hit full boost, it spudders like its hitting a rev limiter, I've researched on here about it, and I haven't found any conclusive information to fix the issue, just a bunch of dead ends. The car was running perfect and boosting fine till I changed the plugs, I got them from autozone and they are the 2jzgte plugs, as they didn't have the part number for the 1jz. I also changed the oil, I put in Q horsepower 10w30. Thanks.

Sounds like you might've unknowingly messed with the coilpack wiring. Make sure all the coil pack connector wires are plugged all the way into the connectors.
Just changing plugs and oil wouldn't do this.
btw- what part number were the plugs you bought? NGK 6097 seems to be the all time favorite 1jz plug
oh yea what did you gap the plug too? Should be maximum of .032, more like .028

Hopefully it's not your ECU, because the 1JZ ecus are junk.
Mine was doing the same, But it was the EcU, and check the coilpack connectors they go bad also because of the heat.

I just got back from getting spark plugs, after my raid of the local autoparts stores, I was only able to find 5 6097's and 1 4544 which suppositively are the same thing jus updated.

i still havent resolved similar problem, gonna shrink the gap in min e too, but along with the high boost sputtering (anything over 12psi) it seems like I also have an audible and occasional idle miss. on top of all this the car smells like a boat when its running.

You just described my car, it stinks so bad, I had to stand around it for 40 minutes while I was failing emissions test and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it out alive. I changed the plugs to the 6097's, the other plugs were basicly dead, they were in there for 3 days and had almost completely burned away.I haven't had the chance to boost it yet but I will on the way home.
