i had oem w58 and when i got my r154 i used my w58 shifter because it had more of an angle. and it works perfect. and then i cut and moved the shifter handle back about an inch.

By cutting the shifter and rethreading. It will not make any of your shift throws shorter. Just lowers the position of ur shifter. I would want a short shifter for the shifting purposes.. not the height.
ty good info

some false info on this thread.. to clear things up for anyone..

if you have a 92-94 5 speed SC w58 you can use a short shifter for a NA MK3 supra.. if you have a 95+ SC300 5 speed w58 you can use a NA MK4 short shifter.

I hate to somewhat hijack your thread, but do you know of any direct link to a site for C's [Siz]? I have been searching for these guys for years now, they make everything from superchargers to 5.0liter kits for the Soarer 4.0; I haven't had any luck at all with this search. Considering you guys are familiar with their short shifter I thought you might know of a way to find more of their parts.

[Again, I am really sorry about the thread hijack and yes, it has been a long time since I have been on, I am away from my SC400 living in the UK at the moment.]
