where to find 1jz distributor?

Default where to find 1jz distributor?
ok i need a new cap and rotor for my 93 sc300. need to replace with the 1jz's cap n rotor wondering if anyone knew where i could get ahold of one. thanks

I don't think 1jz's have distributers, just 2jzge's, but I don't really know.

Indeed, they do not, they have coil packs.

^^^ He's correct!!
1jzgte's and 2jzgte's do not have distributers...they have coil packs
2jzge 92-97 have distributers
2jzge 98-00(vvti) also have coil packs

1jz's come with distributor.... looks the same as 2jzge.

you are wrong, the only engines that have coil packs are the 1/2jzgte the vvti still has a distributor. just GTE doesn't.

Really??? i havent seen a is300 or sc300 that was vvti that had a distributor..
Do you see a distributor on this 98 sc300 2jzge..

well thanks for the responses everyone..i was just confused because my distributor says 1jzge on it..but apparently so do alot of peoples sc300's..im just gona go ahead and purchase one for the 2jzge. thanks again

I know for a fact that is300's do. GE models of the 1 and 2jz's have distributers, including VVTI.

every ge vvt-i motor ive seen does not have one... including my moms gs300. all gte's did not have dizzy's either. only non vvt-i 2j'z have them
