I was having ECU problems before I deployed and going to have it recapped by Aaron @driftmotion. Has anyone or know anyone that has had an ECU recapped? What has your experience been-has any problems ever resurfaced or is it the cure all? Thanks MAC.

Thats what I needed to hear(read.) As soon as she finds time the wife is going to pull the ECU and get it out to him. Have to have her do it now so I have my car back for R&R. Tired of trucks.

Quick= i am pretty sure you will have yours done before I get back so let me know how yours runs afterwards.

i had mine recapped on my 1jz blitz access ecu...it worked great for a few days and then crapped out on me...for some reason, my caps kept melting over and over again, dont know why till this day, i eventually said eff it, and just bought a Mines ecu

Damn that sucks. I am going to have it done, its worth a shot since everyone thats selling ECU's are not responding to my emails. This is my option, plus since I am deployed kinda have nothing to lose.
