Default can i boost it without rebuilding it?

so im a little bit new to this lexus business, i just purchased a 95 sc300 man trans and im very excited to say the least. i have been scoping for parts like crazy. i stumbled upon a twin turbo set up for a supra. my understanding is that this is a pretty striaght forward mod? the guy is selling the entire kit less the intercooler for a very good price. my initial concern was throwing this kit on the car with 119k on it. the gentleman im buying the kit from has the same motor in a corolla and says he is about to do a a single turbo setup with crazy boost, hes at the 150k mark. i intend to have the motor inspected prior to doing the add on but it seems nuts not having her rebuilt? i continue to hear claims about this motor being bulletproof, but the titanic sank and people died soooo... opinions would be very much appreciated cl pros. thanks!
