Default 1jzgte-vvti manifold

I am searching to see where i can purchase a after market turbo manifold for a 1jzgte-vvti , does any member on this forum running the same setup (1jzgte-vvti) have an after market manifold on there car currently , and if so , where did they purchase it , as i have come to find out that this motor is really a headache and a pain as far as tunning and finding parts for it . Any advice and or input would be really appreciated . As someone mentioned before to me that i am probably going to have to get one custom made which i did not want to go that route because people just want to crack you in the head with a price once the words (custom made) is mentioned . Any advice anyone.

I have a 1JZ Soarer with VVTi, I was looking at the Tomei manifold but I think I'll just get the stock turbo modified.

it is extremely hard finding aftermarket parts for the 1jz vvti, there is a website that sells a whole new upgraded turbo kit for it on driftmotion.com,
but i kno ur car came factory with the soarer 1jz vvti but im currently thinking of doin that same swap in my 94 sc300 and i was wondering will i need motor mounts...most likely the motor will be from a jzx100(toyota chaser) and i kno its has a different oil pan sump but my question is motor mounts thats it...what motor mounts do i buy or use exactly???

Yea anthony, i was thinkin that i can jus use my motor mounts i have on my sc now, or atleast buy some new ones...and if i dont buy a supra or soarer rear sump oil pan then ima jus use the one 1 have currently on my sc now and jus go from there...idk man vvti might be alil too much for me bro, my boy here has a 1jz vvti in his cressida and it pulls bro..but as far as parts go if i wanna upgrade the turbo i dont have many options..were the non vvti has plenty of options...decisions,decisions...LoL

bump to the top.. i just ordered a vvti swap.. supposedly the turbo is the same as the 7m.. so you can just do the t61 upgrade or w/e it/s called.. the factory sc300 motormounts will work..

AFAIK the engine mounts should be the same as the top end was different, not the block (generally speaking).

The 1J VVTi runs a CT15B turbo.

,

i am just about done with parts , i came to a conclusion that its better if i keep my stock manifold , to many complications if i decide to get one custom made , i am upgrading my turbo to a 60-1 with a garrett wheel front and back , " mic" miami international turbochargers are really good when it comes to rebuilding or upgrading toyota turbos , they have mine and pretty much its supposed to hold close to 650 hp according to them , thats not what i am going to be pushing , i am going to be around 450 to 500 max , got rc 1000cc fuel injectors already and 2 denso fuel pump which are going in this weekend , also ordered neo apexi for the fuel controller , and thats it for now, i am done with the car what ever it makes i will be happy . i can't push it hard since i am still running the r154 tranny , these are weak trannys once they get to the limit .

You might want to check to make sure that a Neo apexi can control 1000cc injectors because if it's anything like a SAFC then you're going to have issues..
