sc300 starter question
So my starter has been doing the clicking for awhile now, But usually after two or three tries it will start. But last night i went to start it and the starter stayed on i had to hit the solenoid with a long pry bar and hammer for it to unengage. Im not sure if i should buy a whole replacement one or if i should just get a solenoid and new contacts. Is the denso replacement one good? its says its oem on the site.

^^+1.. Pull it out and bench test it.... I had replaced the starter off my mom's van about 3 weeks ago. Had a local store (Kragen) bench test the starter and it keeps passing. The weird part is, the starter motor was weak and barely turns. It could pass on the bench test but you'll have a very good idea as you see the starter in action.... Well, I replaced the starter anyway and no problem since...
