Default Need Help: How to read codes in 95 SC400

I thought my 95 would be ODB2 compliant, but my mechanic said its not. I have a intermittant check engine light on and my first guess didn't work (little $400 mistake).

Any advice would be appreciated. Unfortunatly, my Lexus Service manual is for a 97, so I messed that one up too.

Try to find someone local that has an OBDI tool. I'd hook mine up to your car.... but NJ is a bit far from Florida lol.

I cant answer your question right now, but what was your part you tried, and did you take your battery cable off for 2 min. after the new part to reset the CEL ?

Jump terminals Te1 and E1 on the diagnostic port.

Check your knock sensor harnesses.
