Default Is there an easy way to remove the IACV (idle air control valve) on the 1JZGTE motor?

Hey guys,
I've been meaning to clean my IACV on the 1JZ motor, and I've seen numerous DIY/How-To's online but none for the 1JZ motor. Typically on other people's IACV, they can easily remove it by removing the three screws holding it, but on ours, it's sealed/welded shut with no screws. Is the only way for us to remove it is by taking off all the hose and stuff? I was kinda trying it the other day and it's gonna be a pain removing this thing. If anybody has experience in this, any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

THere is nothing "easy" about cleaning the IACV on an SC4 as I recently learned ... I striped one of the screws and had to go to Lexus to buy more (about $0.85). They had six (6) intheir whole supply system. If there is no "easy" way to remove your IACV recommend you replace the whole unit, perhaps with a used one pulled from the junk yard.

Good luck ...
