Default Aristo 2jzgte into 1998 sc300

Hello all. Just want to share with everyone the JDM Aristo 2jzgte swapped into my 1998 sc300. I bought the swap set from a fellow Club Lexus member. I was fortunate enough to buy from a very knowledgeable seller, Supra600, who is in the business of buying, prepping then installing these JDM engines into the Lexus chassis. According to David, owner, his company (Snap Performance out of TX) has done approximate 40 - 80 of these types of setups and swaps.
The biggest reason this swap came to my attention is because it's a COMPLETE swap set. No need to source for parts. No need to wait around for missing things. No need for trial and error. Everything is present, which makes for the turn around significantly cleaner and quicker.
I'm working with a friend, who is an amazing and experienced ASE certified technician, for the install.
As far as power goals, street racing and such, I have no such criteria. For me I simply wanted the greatest Japanese engine ever made into into my beloved 1998 sc300.

For better traction I've bought a set of polished and repainted (in gunmetal) TT rims. Got them off a Supra friend.
For better stopping power, got me some EBC Red Stuff.

So, let me introduce you all to my 1998 sc300.

Default End of Day 1

Putting the tore down and taken apart sc300 in a comfortable and compact state, until the next time we work on her. She now sits comfortably in my mechanic friend's garage.

Is the engine using the stock JDM twins or USDM twins?

What are you going to do about the Aristo trans not kicking down when you floor it? Mine does that and the only way I know to fix it is to use the SC300 valvebody.

check over your stuff from snap performance throughly;

a sf bay area friend of mine was less than happy with their secondhand motorsets, david told him the motor he bought could possibly use "valve guides"/ head rebuild, turns out that the turbos were shot from overboosting (partial vacume business for aftermarket EBC was still attached), center crankshaft thrust washer totally destroyed and walked on from mongo twin plate clutch dumping.......
