Default Clutch creaking when pressing in?

Okay this may sound stupid but I am trying to figure out why whenever I push in my clutch pedal that it sounds like an old rocking chair. It is a w58 mated to a 1jz and a Stage 3 Competition Engineering Clutch and brand new slave cylinder. Also, when driving slow you can hear chirping coming out of it which I am pretty sure is just the stupid throwout bearing needing to be soaked in some lithium grease or something.

I am just trying to figure out if it is as easy as spraying the pedal assembly with some wd40 or what? Also the chirping...throwout bearing? Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance....

Mine does that too. I think there was another thread with 15+ members all saying theirs did it as well. I guess it's just an SC thing. It doesn't do it all the time though. At least on mine. Sometimes its worse and sometimes its hardly noticeable.

I also have the throwout bearing chirping too.

Yes mine does that exact same thing too. I have a 1jz with mk4 supra w58 with an ACT clutch. It's not coming from inside the car.

lol glad to know i'm not alone on this..

my clutch pedal has the creaking old rocking chair sound sometimes when i push it in as well..

i also have some throw out bearing chirping from time to time which sucks cause i just did the clutch and TB 8 months ago and probably put less then 4,000 miles on it since then.

Yea, someone on SF said that they think it is something to do with the pressure plate. Others have used lithium grease and been fine. Its just annoying to have the car look and sound so good but have that stupid noises. I think over the winter I will drop the trans again and see what I can find. I have been dealing with it since putting in the new clutch. I absolutely LOVE the clutch engagement and pedal feel so if it is something I have to deal with then I guess I need to turn my radio up louder or just run open downpipe to not hear it LOL

Omar that is because you drive like a maniac :-)

I have received some great input from SF and the concensius is this...

1. Lubricate the spring on the pedal with lithium grease (for creaking)
2. Pull back dust boot and lubricate the clutch fork pivot point (for chirping)

I'll let you all know what happens

if its a competition clutch there is a good chance the sound is the springs on the pressure plate bending and will soon cause engagement problems those competition clutches are worth their weight in dirt

I feel like I've seen a few "squeaking clutch pedal" threads, and still no one really knows how to permanently solve the issue. I changed my clutch and had moving piece soaked in lithium grease...still squeaks...
