Default Trouble removing P/S pump

94 sc400. First time doing a p/s pump. I'm to the point of trying to loosen/remove the pump pulley and am having trouble. What have you guys used to keep the pulley from spinning so you can get enough torque on the nut? I've been unsuccessful so far. Don't have an air compressor, so an air impact wrench is not an option.

Also, best way to get the high pressure hose disconnected from the pump?

Anyone near Roseville, CA willing to lend a hand?

TIA

Jeff

If you have the pump out of the car you can hold the pulley in a vise. The nut doesn't have much torque.

You'll need 2 big wrenches. I forget the sizes but I think 19mm and 17mm for the hose

good luck.

Here's the best write-up I've ever seen on the SC4 PS pump and alternator:
