schase- I'm using the regular 1uz-fe bellhousing. I'm getting an adapter plate made so it can link to the R154.
yea 2jz- The exhaust sound lovely. I'm going to straight pipe the whole thing so it'll sound even better. right now I just have the rear resignators deleted. And you should do the swap as well. fairly easy as long as you have all the right parts.
Thanx for the compliments. Also I haven't even seen the pix lol...

Are you welding and redrilling the MR2 flywheel? I would've gotten a flywheel from UZA70, were it me, but it ain't (yet!) so curious to hear your reasons behind that.

I'm redrilling the flywheel. But I don't get what you mean by welding...what do you weld?

It's a turbo kit that I built. There's no pre-made turbo kit as of today. I'm in OC. There's several SC members here in either LA or OC and we're still hanging out. If you want to join us, you're welcome.

Yes I want to hear my car roar with the V8. That's the reason why i'm doing the swap. Also because no body around here has it done.
Stevechumo- I'm really interested in that event. Keep me posted on that. Will Drifting be aloud?

so how is the swap coming along?? Did you ever get your adapter plate? Also can you explain the MR2 flywheel. From what I remember, it's a 3sg(t)e flywheel that has the holes for the flywheel bolts welded up, then it's redrilled right?
Asha'man: The Quantum Auto (formerly UZA70) flywheel is for a w58 which is in fact, different than a R154 flywheel.

There'll be no drifting, only 1/8 mile run. That'll be fun.

The Quantum flywheel can be drilled for the R154 for no extra charge by request.
