Exclamation Who Has A BL FMIC? Fitment Issues! PICS!!!

Hey Guys,

I just recently purchased a FMIC from BoostLogic and I am having a little bit of trouble fitting the piping on my 1994 SC3.

The old style piping that maybe some of you have...involved 5 pieces. My Passenger Side IC piping fits PERFECTLY.

The issues i am having is with the Driver Side IC Piping.

**It seems that BL was getting complaints that peoples IC Piping was cracking on the Sway Bar and therefore BL revised there piping and fabricated new parts.**

I was told by BL to stay AWAY from the Sway Bar.

So who has a FMIC from BoostLogic and do you have any Install Pics or hints on what to do?????

Here are my Pics:
The 3-Pipes to be fitted on the Driver Side IC! U-Shape fits directly on IC. Small Elbow on the left connects to turbo housing! Middle Pipe is giving me huge problems!

U-Shaped Pipe Connecting on the Driver Side IC.

U-SHAPE PIPE COMING FROM IC IN BETWEEN SWAY BAR AND RADIATOR.

MIDDLE PIPE SITTING INFRONT OF SWAY BAR RESTING ON RADIATOR THIS IS GIVING ME PROBLEMS! IS THIS RIGHT??

ELBOW PIECE ON TURBO

Some help would be great

I had to have mine cut just before the turn, then welded with a turn of like 65 degrees. I'll put up a pic. I have the boost logic fmic kit as well as the ceramic exhaust mani top mount. It seems that the turn originaly made with the kit is to shallow and not steep enough.

Thats odd. Seems like it'd be better to use a top and bottom intercooler so that both inlet and outlet are on the passenger side. That way the piping is alot shorter.

Have you called them?

You might already know this, but the canister that's in the way next to the FMIC can be moved upwards to make more room for the IC pipe.
