Turning Air Conditioner off causes idle to DROP to 250-300
I started to notice my 1995 sc400 had a small idle issue and think I have finally pinpointed it. When driving and coming to a stop sign or a red light with the AC on, my idle is just about on the line below 1000rpm, which is normal. When I turn the air conditioner off, the idle will go from that line to either the 200 or 300rpm line, almost as if the car is going to shut off. After searching and reading through a few threads, I want to say it is my IACV may need a cleaning, but I do not have all of the IACV symptoms do I? Is there any other sensor that could cause this to happen? I found this thread but no answer really..https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-pls-help.html

Try to clean the iacv first since it is free and pretty easy. If you were referring to symptoms mentioned in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...highlight=iacv, it sounds like something I experienced. The low idle occurred randomly with the use of the ac though.
