tranny surging issue?? 92 sc400
i have a quick question about my tranny....hope you can help? 92 sc400 while in o/d between 40 and 50 it surges (the tranny feels like its slipping or surging) when i go over 50 its fine. if i kick the o/d off to boost rpm up it helps a lil but still surges only between 40-50. if i kick down to 2nd and get my rpm's up even higher it doesnt do it. any ideas? i have search and read for a couple hours this moring.
whats first tranny filter/fluid change
or is this a valve body problem,selonoid issue bad torque coverter? im not a tranny guy
everything shifts fine and while in o/d 40 and under is fine 50 + is fine only surges 40-50 range at a stready cruse not while accelerating
