Does anyone have an idea of how many hp I can expect From the 1UZ with

A BFI & K&N filter,
4-1 Shorty Headers,
Full 2.25 exhaust with X pipe,

EDIT: I need around 240 whp to beat my 350Z in the 1/4.

A BFI with the K&N will give you around 5, and the full exhaust, maybe another 12-15.

seems like it should be moving air pretty well.
doesnt the Z have more than 240 whp and more gear (auto and manual) and lighter?

I ran 14.5 @99 in an 06 auto 350Z in 100* weather last night.

She weighed in at 3450 with me (160lbs). The 350Z is my target right now. That way I can smoke em when I do a 5-speed swap.

An auto trans 350Z is probably only making 215 whp. Your right I trapped 99mph near the top of third gear wise.

i think the bfi and k&n will give more than 5...efficiancy is the key. check out my diy

No 1UZ ever made 210whp stock through the auto trans. They make 180whp stock.

BFI is worth like 13whp according to planetsoarer And a full exhaust with headers should net me quite a few

So I've got 193whp after the BFI, The question is how many HP is the exhaust worth and where can I get another 20whp. Cams are one option but that's like 1200$

Invest in a shorter diff 4.27/4.08 with LSD and Dragon Torque converter to go along with your BFI and full exhaust no larger than 2.25"
