Default T3 Super 60 / F1-49 .48 A/R yay or nay?

I have chance of picking this up for pretty cheap it only has 2k miles on it.. I am debating if I should pick this up or let it pass. I know my final goal will surpass this turbo but the guy did pay a grand for it.
Quick details: it will be NA-t with stock compression, and pretty much over kill intercooler for it... 4" core. Tuning with a AFC only (just a temp setup while I build my other block)

imo that is too small, its going to spool damn fast with a .48 a/r exhaust side. that turbo seems more geared to a 4 cyl and it will probably be running out of breath in the higher rpms on the 3.0L

The turbo is comming out of a GM Syclone/ Cyclone I don't remember how they spell it. It's a 4.3 V6 AWD truck. Well this one is a bolt on upgraded version of the turbo. I was also thinking it would spool too fast but... for a temp fix for me not having a turbo yet.

too small to make much, and with that exhaust housing it will spool up crazy fast. It's a turbo for a truck engine, something made to haul stuff from place to place, not to make mega power. I wouldn't do it.

The Exhaust size seems kinda small, but then again, people say my .96 a/r is too big so...
