Hey all you 1jz guys,

I had a question regarding the ABS system in our cars after the swap. I have a 97 sc300 and just finished up my swap (1jz r154 using jdm 5mt ecu). I have not driven the car yet as i am waiting on the throttle cable from toyota because they are back ordered.

First, does anyone who has done this swap have ABS working in there cars now? If so, how did you get this to work?

How does the car break whether in a straight line, turning, or under wet conditions without the ABS?


Thanks for any help you guys can give me on this. I searched around but havent found a difinitive answer to this question. I have to finish cleaning up the interior and i will take some pics of the finished product and how the new manual sits in the car.

Mine is the same way when i started last week the ABS light stayed ON,then i talk to my Boy and he told me not to worry about it.

I haven't pull my Car out of the garage yet, the car is loud as hell ,i am looking for a DP that bolt right up to my stock exhaust .
