Yeah, you have to email Neil about them. They are usually built to order and really expensive to ship from what I hear.

There was an issue with these headers on manual SC4's due to the slave cylinder, but with all the new manual conversions out that use a hydro bearing, there shouldn't be any problem.

Wow - that is beautiful
I can only imagine how much fun that setup would be under the hood!

I would have a hard time believing something crafted so well would only help by 10hp
Is that really true?
Do the fcty manifolds flow that well?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but are there more options for headers these days? Any more input from anyone?

Nope, thats pretty much it. In fact I dont think you can even get IMF headers anymore.

I'm lucky, the previous owner had a full custom y-pipe exhaust done with PPE long tube headers. The car is crazy fast for not having any turbos or anything

Oh, and theres OBX headers, but they the consensus on the forum is that they're cheap and not worth installing.

thanks for your input, i saw someone talking about hurricane headers while googling, looks like they're just IMF headers continued since they're not made anymore. IMF must have sold them to whoever makes them now. i htink they were like 700 last time i checked, but in australia so who knows how much shipping would add.

There is a pair of the IMF headers for sale in the classifieds. I just bought the Kelford cams he's selling.

I personally have the IMF headers on my car and love them. Gained 4 tenths in the 1/8 mile.

If I had to install them again I'd pull the motor out to do it. Probably would be easier than trying to do it in the car.

No, cats got to go or I suppose you could relocate them or get some Magnaflows or other replacement.

I've had my S&S headers on since 2010 with stock exhaust, the coating does seem to burn off a bit but their still coated and rust free. Even with stock exhaust the exhaust note changes dramatically with these headers, make it nice and snarley at WOT but quiet under 2500rpm just cruising. I don't know if you will get tons of power but the 1uz breathes so much better and dat sound after.... Take one look at the stock log manifolds and you'll know anything is better and these definitely didn't disappoint me. As a side note my Dad's sc400 has the long tube headers with factory exhaust and it sounds stock, but again a nice performance increase.

so shorty's won't increase power as much as long headers?

I'm not positive of that, both mine and my dads cars are supercharged so Its hard to tell the difference in power, just the sound is different. I think shorties are better for low to mid while long tubes are better for high? But both are ten times better than stock so I wouldn't get too caught up in it.
