Default Oil Lamp Light on and off?

I have a 93 SC400 and I noticed recently that the little orange Lamp on the dash has been going ON and then turning OFF at times. So I checked my oil dipstick and it was a little low, so I poured in 2 quarts of Oil and now it's a little above halfway. But whenever I drive, the Lamp still goes ON and OFF at random moments for some strange reason. Does anyone know what's wrong? Should I add more Oil?

If you are doing hard breaking and hard acceleration and hard cornering the oil will be pushed to one side of the motor at a time. It won't get sucked up into the oil sump and then the oil pressure sensor won't read correct pressure. Fill it up till the oil is on the full level dot. don't overfill it cause that leads to more problems. If the lights still come on you might have a sludged motor or a oil pressure sensor fault. Do you have any check engine lights on or no. If you do have codes get the car scanned or check it yourself if you can read/pull codes. Fill it up with oil and see if the problem continues. Fix those oil leaks also so you don't have to keep filling it up....
