Very easy. Disconnect the battery. Remove the serpentine belt. Unplug and unbolt the alternator. It's much easier to pull out if you remove the fan blade. It's just 4 nuts. You may also need to remove the intake tube. It's all done from above so no need to jack it up.

take a 17mm box end wrench or a breaker bar with a 17mm socket. you put in on the belt tensioner and rotate it clockwise. while pushing down on the tensioner take the belt off the pulley.

if you still have the radiator fan shroud on the car the alternator is a pain to do from the top.

it is easier to do it from the bottom. put the car on jack stands.

to remove the actual alternator it is 2 bolts. they are both either a 14mm or 17mm socket. cant remember off the top of my head.

you will need to unplug the alternator from back.

you will also need to also remove a 10mm bolt. be careful not to ground the wrench or ratchet to the chassis of the car. the wire from the alternator goes directly to the battery. you dont want to be the ground lol.

good luck. if need more help ask away or PM me

Here is a useful link with different methods:

I personally removed it from the top. Removing the fan and shroud is pretty simple and will make it that much easier.
