are the 92-97 exhaust the same as the 98+ on the sc300? as in the hanger location and bolt on location? can someone confirm? i would assume its the same since theyre both 2jz-ge except for the vvti on the 98+.

and next question, will a sc300 exhaust fit on a sc400 without any mods?

The first part I am not sure on for hanger locations ,but it would be pretty damn close threw most of the models. The second question it won't at all mods are definitely needed. Don't use the stock exhaust from a 300 for a 400 because it is to restrictive. SC300 2.25 compared to the 400's 2.50 for each side.

all sc300 exhaust are same.

the axle back exhaust(ie mufflers pretty much) are interchangeable for any year sc300 and sc400.

the midpipes on the sc400 and sc300 are different obviously due to I6 vs. V8

I've been looking at lots of pictures of stock exhaust systems lately.

Somewhere in 98-99, at least for the SC400, they changed to bigger square resonators. That was the only difference I could find in the exhaust system itself.

thanks guys. im selling my fujitsubo exhaust off of my 97 sc300, some owners wantd to make sure it fits the 98+ models. some even questioned about getting it to fit on a 400. so thats why i asked. thanks guys
