Default Heat Wrapping your Cold air intake tube

Hey guys got an idea when my buddy showed me under the hood of his hooked up 03 mustang. His cold air intake is identical to mine and goes into a cutout in the fender but his whole intake was wrapped in some kind of reflective heat shield material.

where can i get such a material???? id like to wrap my intake as well as some of the exposed wiring and sensors to shield them from the engine area heat.

Cool Tape. I thought about doing this too. It would make a difference.

It's not worth it. You're not going to get any reasonable gains. Save your money.

ummmm yeah i doubt that considering i live in las vegas and it gets 110+ here so im pretty sure helping that tube not be 150+ degrees would be a reasonable gain.

as well as wrapping the exposed wiring so it lasts longer.....

but thanks for the failed attempt at constructive criticism
