Default For the love of...uggghhh, starter motor part number?

For the love of all things holy and just, will someone give me the part number for the Nippon Denson starter motor for a 1JZGTE? Ive been all over google, CL, nippon's website, plus the performance shop in town, AND Midas...with no help, not even clues.

My car is sitting in my back yard and its in a coma, some of you guys pull some mechanical "I watched House or Scrubs" the other night and diagnose this nonsense because Im getting frustrated with no answers.

...wow that site is awesome! Can't believe I hadn't seen it before, thanks Paco.

There are alot sites that sell parts for 1jz/2jz, I always wanted CL to post stickies where people can list sites to purchase parts for our cars. 935motorsports and MVPmotorsports are great too. Since 1jz share many access. with the 2jz, local auto parts store will do also, just don't tell them you are running a 1jz, they have no clue.

Word, thanks all, for the record and people who USE the search button for A 1JZGTE STARTER MOTOR FROM NIPPON DENSO......the part number is 280-0162, courtesy of 'GtsN-95.0'. Cheers all, this will be purchased on friday when I get pizzaaaaid!!

PS-being without my car for 4 days...the horror...I can't wait, never know how much you miss something until it's gone I suppose. Plus..I just found all these new sites and apparently I need about a bagillion dollars to get everything I want.

Did you get the click click or is it totally crap? If it clicks but never engages the starter contacts might be jacked, about a 30 dollar/minute fix. I had that on mine.

Not any old 7m starter.

Only the 91 plus 7m starter has threads in it. So unless you like to punish yourself with a nut and bolt, only look for 91 plus with threads in the starter itself. Installation is 10x easier.

BTW 280-0162 is your average 2JZGE starter.

280 0163 is the turbo starter. 2JZGTE.

I get ONE single click, then nothing, no turning no nothing. All lights work perfectly fine (my Interstate battery is a beast). Is this what you mean?

I'm just going to grab the 1JZGTE starter (...http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...or1jzand7m.php...) That is, unless this isn't really the problem and it's just a smaller problem inside the starter. I don't really know too much about this part of the engine but I'm learning as I go, much thanks to all you guys.

after you grab that new starter from driftmotion, if you get some free time check into rebuilding a starter using your old one.. just search some threads or google it.. you might be able to get your old starter good to go again and have a spare or sell it off..

Update...so the 90-94 Supra Twin Turbo won't work (got that one on accident) spent about 5 hours messing about, changing the ignition wire and everything, couldnt figure it out.

So I took that one back to Autozone, and have just called them up about the 91+ 7MGTE and they have it on the shelf so I'll be picking that up in a couple of days.

HOPEFULLY this will work because I'm so sick and tired of asking for rides while I have a beast just sitting there. (This is my first serious car coma if you can't tell.)
