A guy who had the AMUSE GT30 kit had an ARC bov, so that could be it. ARC does have quite a different sound, so I would be that's what it is.

And you are correct Sir. Power House Amuse only did installs of this kit in shop and used the ARC BOV. The car that you are speaking of was and is the ONLY Amuse turbo kit in the US.

People forget that the sounds you hear will vary by car and setup. Whatever you hear on youtube is nothing like what you will actually experience in your own car, unless you have the same setup. Many of the sounds you hear are actually compressor surge.

Always sounded like surge to me. The GReddy Type-S is by far the ricest BOV. Brian Earl Spillner would concur.

I've always had SSQV's on my turbos. Recirc'd, vented, when I got tired of that sound I'd remove the Mercedes shaped insert and it gives it a completely new sound. Removing that insert gives it more of a "CHIGGAAAAAH" deep-woosh sound.

I've always wondered the size of the turbo on this car. Looks pretty sweet.
