trace the wires to those sensors, at least as far as you can
just curious if both are going to the ecu.

that is strange. I didn't think the 1jz used a secondary map for fuel cut, like the 3s-gte...i definately never hooked up a second map sensor when putting the intake manifold back on.

if they are both going to ecu, then try unplugging one and running the engine, then vice versa.
If SOMEHOW you have both going to the ecu to the same pinouts, you're feeding twice the voltage to the ecu, making it think it has double the air. But it seems unlikely that both would be hooked up.

Hopefully a 1jz guru will pop in and comment on the dual sensors. i'm rusty...and not a guru

only one is connected as of now, the green one is connected

the yellow one is cut and no signs on where it goes. and yet theres a vacuum line connected to it lol.

and i still cant rev above 3k

well anyways that BOGGING is still here even with a tps change.
it was running fine before sad.gif

anyone have a ECU i can try? i know its a big jump from all the little things but ill make me feel better if i try it..

-changed plugs
-changed tps
-timing
-check wiring
-checked knock
-everything grounded
-filled the blinker fluid
-bleed the washer fluid pump
-and changed the exhaust bearings twice

Well I have a similar issue..but Mine just Cuts out a tad and goes Super lean (15-16afr) for a SPlit second and Then Goes away right after 3000+/-
***I can Free Rev as high as I want - But under load it Does the Slight Cut out***
I've tried a little with adjusting SAFC to add Fuel at certain RPMS but Not anything Drastic YET.

I'm Still Convinced its Coil Related.Mine have Some Cracks that I repaired but Still don't trust it.I'm Ordering 6 new Coils or Possibly SuPER Spark Coils from The Aussie's.Would Love to try another ignitor though.

Car is a 93 SC400 With a "Newer Style" 1JZ/R154 Manual ECU (updated PCV valve cover)
ECU was Great when I opened it up to check for a Mess.
Running a Single Turbo,3330 Copper plugs,etc etc.

- everything else on my car is perfect (after i fixed the Grouding issue causing the Fuel pump/SAFC to stay on after key was off)
