MAF is fault, what are my options?
So after I made my BFI and getting occasional CEL, I had been suspecting the MAF as I did touch the honey comb and bent a couple lines out of shape, and my cat went rubbing her body against the darn thing
BFI did not satisfy me so I opt-ed for "spectre" 3in intake from autozone. Car pulls strong but I'm now getting CEL all the time and gas mileage sucks BIG time. Code pulled for air sensor. So I highly doubt that taking it out this time may have damage it permanently.
Enough with that, I hate that MAF anyway, it never worked right, bogged my car like crazy. What kind of alternative for air sensor and tuning can I get?
O2 sensors are fine, no code for them.
CEL will be on all the time because the MAF broke, so ECU will be in closed loop, rich mode, I need a sensor and a tuning. I'm looking at a possible FI for my V8 in the future, so...
What you guys think?
Converting to MAP based (how do I go about this)?
Can I use a piggyback with the ECU in rich mode? How about SAFC2 for tuning. Or fullalone with wideband O2 sensor?

You can convert to maf by going with maftpro, KC is running it on his supercharged SC4.
There is an issue with the car, a piggyback won't really help it. The issue with standalone is that (assuming) you are still automatic is that you really can't go standalone. Unless you get a standalone TCU.
