Default Quick Heater Hose question

Hey,

I recently changed my headgasket on my sc300 with a 2jzgte swap, and I forgot which heater hose goes where? Does the one coming from the heater vsv go to the heater union furthest to the rear, and the hose coming from the firewall goes to the water hardline nearer to the turbos or visa versa?

Also, I'm trying to flush out all the "cheetohs" from my cooling system.

I found thishttp://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/coo...ush/index.html

But one of the steps require the car to already have coolant in it. Right now my system is bone dry. Should I refill with coolant, then add the coolant flush chemical, then drain it again to put new coolant in?

Thanks in advance for your help.
