need help with power steering leak

Default need help with power steering leak

there is a hose that isnt connected to anythin. ive looked and cant tell where it is suposed to go. can someone please tell me where it goes

I went out and looked at mine and i see that hose goes connected to the intake pipe from the maf sencor. On the pipe you will see there is a hose that is connected to that, well there is another hole facing from that to the front of the car. that is where hose goes.

that hose connects to your intake manifold. it goes from there down into a valve on the high pressure line coming from your power steering pump. that valve helps with the engine idle while youre steering at a stop. usually those valves go bad and youre sucking oil into the intake manifold causing a smoky startup. with that said, im sure youre valve is bad and the previous owner plugged it.
