1992 SC400 Car is bucking at 35-50mph!!!
Hi everyone, my car is driving me insane right now...I just replaced my throttlebody and I cleaned it...which helped...but now my car is bucking really bad at certain mph...What is the Trac Control Adjustment for? It has an adjustment just like the TPS...but when I turn it it does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? I have my TPS adjusted kinda high...idles at 1000rpm...under that and the car runs very rough...and backfires while driving if stepped on, so its at 1000rpm at idle and in gear. Please help me...I'm running out of ideas...Thanks for any help.

I removed the throttlebody and used carb cleaner to clean off all the built up carbon...what a pain in the *** that was...vacuum & water line! The car is running fine besides the bucking...I'm going to check the codes tonite to see if the o2 sensor...I think you can clean the MAF too with some carb cleaner...I'll try that too, because it is plugged in. (The MAF is located right after your air filter, its a large blackbox with a plug in it.)

When my car bucked at 40ish mph, I found out it was the air filter. Granted mines aftermarket and the brace that held it in-place shifted and the filter partially fell off the mount, and dirty air was allowed in. Put the filter back in place, and adjusted the brace, and wallah done works.
