Drag wheel/tire fitment pics
In '09, my goal is to make some serious passes at the drag strip, but I'm still a novice when it comes to driving. So, I have a lot to learn this year. However, I have to start somewhere.
Below are pics of wheels and tires I'm considering. Here are the specs:
Fronts: M&H 27x4.5/17 bias ply skinnies on one-piece Bogart wheels 17x4.75 no backspace (TT brakes only).
Rears: Hoozier 28x10/16 bias ply slicks on one-piece Bogarts 16x9.75, 7.5 backspace.
The car is on Eibach springs and stock shocks. TT brakes on the front; NA brakes on the rear.
Rear fitment is nearly perfect. In fact, fitment is so tight the tire would rub the spring with the car lifted. Once weight was put on the rear tire, there's about 1/4" clearance on the inside. The lip of the rear fender will require rolling, but it won't take much effort.
The fronts stick out more than anticipated. The one-piece wheel is a plus, but there's no spoke bow around the TT brakes; consequently, it pushes the wheel out a little further. Additionally, the Supra fender covers more of the front wheel than the sc300 which we didn't know about. I could probably roll the front fender, but it could take quite a bit of work.
I left the NA brakes on the rear to account for a 15" rim and taller sidewall; so, the fitment shown might be a little different if I go with a smaller wheel.

Those look mean as heck! I love them!
My drags are CCW classics, rears are 26 x 10.5 but I am shopping for a set of 28 x 11.5, fronts are firstone skinnys.

Scott,
You rolled the fenders, right?... I remember seeing a post on SFs. Your tires appear to have plenty of clearance. If so, was it hard to do?...

Yes they are rolled, I bought the eastwood roller, not to hard with that. I do have lots a clearance, thats why I want a set of 11.5" x 28", I think they will fit good.

Yess! Scott, Your car needs this, BAD. I believe I've seen those Bogarts on some really clean red Supra with polished engine parts

All... thanks for the kind words; however, I am borrowing NUNEZTT's wheels and tires in the pics above for fitment purposes, only. He and Bogart are responsible for quality of the drag package. It is top notch stuff and would make Chevy Chevette look sick! 
I'm very lucky to have both NUNEZTT and M34LNCH in the central Florida area to help with the selection of wheels and tires. I'm sure they'll continue to provide input.
Mario has successfully put a 28" tire on the rears, but it does require stock ride height and a minor fender roll. I'm on Eibach springs which is why the rears are so close. My bigger concern is the fronts. The wheel spokes are straight which pushes the outter lip further away than anticipated. Consequently, they stick out pretty far from the fender. The up-side to the Bogart wheels is that they're one-piece, and that's my preference over a wheel requiring a spacer.
I'm heading over to Mario's soon to check out his setup, but he's far more knowledgeable when it comes to what works for him. I'll let him reply if he comes across this thread.

Definitely, Mario's always been quick to answer any questions I've had on the subject. On the bright side, even though you have to keep the rear at stock height, with a 28" tire in the wheel well it fills it up quite nicely and doesn't look like it needs dropped at all.

Anything i can do to help scott my family is family out of town so feel free to stop by over the weekend if you wish! I will probably be hanging out here anyways doing some painting arround the house!
