Only problem is that is suites his needs for the turbo application, where I am NA, I will lose some power, no?

I was thinking of throwing 2 small 4"x14" resonators (magnaflow) into the mix to help. So it will be X pipe > 2 resonators > 2 big *** tips. Do you think this will help or do I need actual mufflers?

Are you saying these resonators your thinking of using has an ID of 4"?

If so, they absolutely will not help.

What ID do you want your tips to be?

I would say go 2.5 inch piping all the way and maybe throw in some resonators before the x-pipe. The resonators won't help with torque loss, but will make it sound more full and less raspy. With the smaller 2.5 inch piping, power loss should be minimized....what size is the piping on your current exhaust btw?

My old setup, *sounds familiar *, was obnoxiously loud, and I did feel a loss in the low end range.

Thanks for the replies.

My current system is 2.25 all the way back.

The resonators are Magnaflow 4" mufflers. 2.5" core inside, 4" wide, with 2.5" piping. The tips are 4" tips with a 2.5" inlet (hence the magnaflow i want to get).

What do you think?
