Well last night when I went to the shop I noticed that my transmission mount didn't fit on the r154. What mount do I need to use to make it line up? Thanks

w58 mount + w58 rubber = bolts don't line up on the 154
W58 mount + r154 rubber = holes don't line up on the mount.
R154 mount + r154 rubber = doesn't mount on to the car.
any suggestions?

Well I came to the shop today and it all the same... now I messured the back bold of both transmissions. It looks like it would line up and the bolts seem to be in the right spot to remove the housing off the current transmission and bolt it up to the r154. Problem with that would be that I would need to buy the front piece of a 5 speed drive shaft because I just sold mine. By doing this it also appears that I wouldn't have to extend or mod my shifter being that it sits further back then the r154.

and I just noticed that wouldn't work.... there are 3 side bolts on one and not the other

can anyone tell me if the subframe or mount for a 93 sc300 is different to the one of a 96? (both 5 speed)
Just trying to verify if the mounts are different between the first gen w58 is different from the 2nd gen. Thanks guys.
