Default trouble shifting when cold

I noticed sometimes with these cold mornings we have here in the northwest, that it's sometimes hard to grab reverse gear on my 5spd when the motor is cold.

I noticed if pump the clutch in and out for maybe 10 times then it grabs the gear. Any ideas?

logical theory i think goes the same like engine oil fluids... use lighter weight like 75w-90 for quicker warm up...

75-90 is the standard in most transmissions and differentials anyways. the only reason to run heavier stuff like 90-140, what i do in the summer, is when i go tracking or drifting.

it will happen. you have to let your car warm up. you can try to find a lighter gear oil then a 75-90.
