Default No heat

To CL Members:

Have a 94sc400 that suddenly stopped heating. Any ideas? Of course my first thought is a bad thermostat, but I'm wondering if there is some known issue about heating systems and whether the climate control itself can be a problem. I also noticed that the dash panel itself is looking a little cloudy. I don't know if this is cosmetic, like my speed/odom/ cluster.

thanks!

Very common problem.... check your coolant level & top it off, if that doesn't do it, check your temp control valve... on a 400, located on passenger side fire wall, could also be your interior temp sensor, turn all the way to hot, if you get heat it's your temp sensor located on dash just right of steering column, about 1" x 1" little louvered looking thingy.... do a search, lots of info. on all these subjects.
