Default 250k miles club

so i was thinking of turbocharging the sc300 but sadly it has 250kmiles on it. i wonder how far do people ever went on this engine before it starts to malfunction. My car still running fine and the engine is really quite when its on. I like any advice what to do with this engine. Should i rebuild it or just buy another one. I'm really confuses of what I want to do.

i would say do a compression test on the motor when its warm and if they are above at least 160 id say go for it

I say try finding a lower mileage one if you plan on NA-T it they 2jzge do not cost that much i see some for like 300-500 for less than 150k i believe it was awhile ago.. If you dont get a compression check like 93sc3005sp

There is a thread that documents all the SC's with high miles. There are many with 250k+ but I don't think many of them have them boosted at those miles. I agree you should probably find something with lesser miles. If I were you I'd just keep driving until the engine broke down then swap it to a 2jzgte
