Default SC300 BFI.. project?

So I just spent a good hour browsing the planetsoarer BFI DIY's and they are all SC400's. So I'm wondering, It should be possible to do a SC300 BFI correct in a similar fashion? I'm seriously not "handy" nor have much experience and knowledge with cars so excuse stupid common sense questions I might ask lol

well to start off first.. how exactly do you remove the airbox to begin with? O_o?

I couldn't seem to find any other bolts, so are these it? 4 on the MAF and those others?

back to the main question, is it possible to BFI SC300's using the SC400 guides? If yes... I've got a load of other questions that the DIY's on planetsoarer couldn't answer or didn't really compute in my head haha sorry! Yeah even with pictures provided I couldn't make 100% sure what I was looking at. haha

i barely feel n e pull on my 300. on my 400 the cars pull harder with bfi better than the intake but the intake make a noise like a eagle man i miss driving my gray already and is only been a few hours

so if the bfi is useless on the 300 as you put it...what aftermarket parts do you recommend?

bfi still has gains, it just depends if you can make it as much as efficient as you can. more efficient, more gains.

excatlly what product said the better is built the more effecient it will be but what are u plans for your car if u want small and cheaper gains making the car breath is going to be your best option. a nice exhaust system will be your best setup and that intake and some headers will run u about 500.00 at the most but hit up the for sale section here or on other sites. the only want i can really be honest it that you will have to send that guap ($$$) to see whats best for you. every combination has a different outcome. if u have question i am sure there are lots more people that can lead you in the right direction.

thanks for the inputs, main reason I want to do this instead of getting an intake system is well yeah, Dirt Cheap and effective and a fun learning experience for me haha. I will borrow a 10m socket and start messing around haha, time to check out sc400808 thread, I hope all the bolts are in the same place.

i did a BFI for my SC300, and its not useless, i can feel a difference. I'll really tell a difference when i clean it up and build my snorkel and put my exhaust header on though.

i'm thinking about welding some aluminum up for a snorkel right next to my fog light on my 95 sc, put one snorkel on the bottom one on the top and feed them into one accumulator snorkel up to the airbox, make a new airbox out of aluminum, kind of like a funnel, and use a K&N filter

WTF!? I am so confused! What do I do? I am reading threads SRI and BFI are both useless. I want to get my to replace my "tubing" because my stock one has holes in it from the previous owner and he put electrical tape around them
