Default Few 1J related questions

It seems like I keep seeing people talk about cutting that one black wire on the 95. Well mine's a 92, and I've heard this is different than the 95. Does anyone know the wire to cut on the 92 with a 1J swap? Right now, I can go passed 3k rpm, but my airbag light is on all the time.

Also, with the coolant temp. gauge, I cut the brown/black wire on the body plug on the car side, and grounded the wire, but maybe I'm doing this wrong, do you have to T it into the wire? Cuz I just cut the wire and grounded it, and my coolant gauge still isn't working.

My car isn't idling right, the idle bumps up and down from around 1k to 800, over and over. I'm thinking it's possibly my IAC. Where is this sensor located? Is it adjustable? Or do I just need to try cleaning it or something? I don't think it's my TPS because my TPS is brand new.

Lastly, I've got a weird intermittent noise coming from near where the timing belt/cam gears are. I just did the waterpump and timing belt, and don't know what this noise could be. Going to take the cover off tomorrow and try to figure it out, but if anyone has had this noise as well, and can give input, I'd appreciate it.

You have to T into the wire for the temp gauge. For the 92, you shouldn't have the 3k rpm problem....

K, I'll have to re-do that tomorrow then. Thank you...so should I reconnect my black wire then? I think it's what might be causing the airbag light to stay on...

K, so I got my temp gauge working now.

Got that black wire back together, oil level light is now not on, but Air Bag light still stays on all the time.

Also, I got all my T-Bolt clamps on now, so I can boost, but it seems that the higher the RPMs go, it feels like the car starts losing power, and I'm not talking near redline, I'm talking about like 5kish, it starts to feel weaker and weaker, what would this be? It kinda sucks. It feels pretty good up to about then.

Also, when I'm driving, either hard or normally, sometimes I get random cut-outs/bogs or something, it's weird.

Oh, and one more thing...I used the 1J speed sensor, and my speedometer reads, but it seems like it's slow? I feel like my car's going faster than the speedometer says, is this why people say to use the 2J one or what?

Concerning the IAC before you look into that check to see if there is a vacuum leak on the intake manifold somewhere. Also run some injector cleaner and see if that cleans up the idle a little bit.
