Default Dimensions on SC300 Auto and Manual Driveshaft?

Basically I was wondering if the dimensions of the SC300 auto and manual drive shafts were the same. If not, what is the dimensions of them?

Thanks.

Dimensions? You mean just the length? If that is so, I believe that the rear shafts are the same length. The fron shafts are different depending on which type of tranny you have.

Do you need exact measurements?

Correct, the rear half is the same, the front on the manual is longer, by at least a couple inches.

Okay... Im just trying to figure out what drive shaft I will need for my 1uz//W58//SC400 rear end. So SC300 manual driveshaft is what I should need then?

So you are doing a manual conversion on the 400? I would use the manual driveshaft because:

1) it fits into the rear of the w58.
2) even if it doesn't fit perfectly (i.e. too long, short) You have an input shaft that fits into the transmission so you can just get it modified.

Very true. How much room is there to play, because if anything, the tranny will sit maybe 3/8 to 1/2 of an inch farther back because of the adapter plate.
