Default Help - Testing the oil pressure sender with a multimeter.....

I think my oil pressure might be too low. Without going into depth on why I think that, I did discover that the bulb behind the red (not yellow) oil pressure low alarm is burned out. Once I located it, it does not come on when I first turn the power on. Nor does it come on when I pull the wire off the sending unit.

I've ordered an oil pressure tester, but it would sure be nice to know how to use a meter, assuming the sender is working.

Anyone know how to check a sending unit with a good multimeter?
