Default Replaced shift solenoids: Now worse :(

I bought 4 used shift solenoids from Aliga to replace mine in the SC400. I was having a code come up for solenoid #2, so figured i'd just replace them since it was starting in 2nd instead of 1st.

So, dropped the pan, replaced all 4 of the solenoids 1 by 1 so i didn't mix them up, put the pan back on, topped off with ATF. I started the car, put it in reverse to get out of my garage, and nothing. WOULD NOT engage into gear.

I ended up rolling down the driveway a bit, still nothing, put it in D, nothing. Put it in 1 and 2, nothing. SC4 is now stuck in the driveway.

Bad solenoids? or is there some magic trick i must perform when installing the noids...?

Do you still have a code? Will it shift into any other gear? Did you mess with the shift linkage at all?

Make sure the fluid level is right first. Doesn't make sense, reverse is controlled by the manual valve not the solenoids, I'm fairly sure on this.

Check the fluid level again running in park. When you put it into drive or reverse and hit the gas does it rev up? I can't remember what you posted on the other thread ,but has that tranny been replaced? Has it been rebuilt? Could be a possibilty that your pressure plate or belville spring took a crap. The only thing you did was take off the pan? When you removed the pan did any large chunks or anything come out or ball bearings?
