I just got a compression test on my 92 sc4 and 3 out the 8 cylinders where really low like 101 - 124 - 117 the others where good up in the 200's so the mechanic told me try and sell it.
what you guys think i should do in this case , also if any 1 has gotten the same problem b4 please tell me whats the best thing sell it or fix it up though the body is great , suspension is all right so this is the worst news ever

If it still runs fine, you could sell it...or maybe this is a good time to do a motorswap if that's something you're interested in...or find another 1UZ, they shouldn't be too hard to find.

spent all that money to revamp the car spend a couple extra bucks for a rebuild or a swap. How many miles on the engine?

low comp ---wouldnt that just mean you need possibly head gasket and u re ready to go?

its at 166000 km's
it runs good for the time b_ing , the mechanic told me the more i drive it the more its going to get worst
so 3 cylinders are going how do they fix that
also selling it here is going to b hard and winters approaching , this sucks

there's a guy local to me (Vancouver) who's parting an SC4 that was rolled but mechanically sound apparently

im in Montreal and its hard to find any over here though i need to know if this is a fixable problem with out swapping

well 2 are at 0

my mech told me its most likely head gasket -- hes done ls400 with same issue..

but im not sure what to do now...
swap or just head job.. what if its not just the head..right...?

well i got 3 bad ones but i just spoke with a mechanic he told me thers no way its the h gasket if 3 or more are very low like my car then its something more serious
